Bill started his career back in the early 70's as a teenager working with the Johnson Publishing Company the publishers of Ebony magazine. Bill's first feature was, (Those Browns) which was distributed by Sammy Davis, Jr. in the late 70's from (1975-1981)
Murray later worked with the now famous Kevin Eastman the creator of the famous (Ninja Turtles) in 1985 Murray hired the talent Kevin Eastman to create the cover of his first issue of " ADAM & EVE, A.D. which later became distributed internationally.
Murray has also been comic strip artist for the Sengstacke
Newspaper Chain since 1981 drawing the popular comic strip ( SonnyBoy ) and
Editorial Cartoons. Murray's clients has included : TIME MAGAZINE, HALL MARK
GREETING, GIBSON GREETING CARDS, the NEW YORKER MAGAZINE, NEWS WEEK MAGAZINE,
WALT DISNEY, DC COMICS , FIRESTONE TIRES , and many, many more.
